Jeffcoat & Associates, LLC was organized and began operation on January 1, 1993. It is a successor to the firm Harry Jeffcoat, Jr. & Associates, Inc., established November 1, 1958, as a Professional Mechanical Engineering firm, providing services in Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Kentucky. With our roots in the technical and engineering disciplines, we have evolved, in response to customer demand, into a full service Facility Services Company.
We currently provide or have provided services for approximately 7.4 million square feet of office space and over five hundred thousand square feet of raised floor computer space. We feel especially proud of our accomplishments in managing high profile administrative buildings, banking facilities, and critical data center operations. Significant accomplishments include the operation, maintenance, and management of three “Best in Class” data center facilities located in Alabama, Mississippi, and North Carolina as determined by a nationwide benchmarking effort by the UpTime Institute with emphasis on data center reliability. In another recent benchmarking effort conducted by the International Facility Manager’s Association, one of our major administrative facilities was determined to be “Best in Class” in energy conservation.
